Application of Box type Annealing Atmosphere Furnace in the Metal Industry

Box type annealing atmosphere furnace is widely and crucially used in the metal industry. The following are some typical application scenarios:

Automotive parts manufacturing: In the manufacturing of automotive engines, valve springs are usually made of spring steel with high carbon content. By heating the valve spring to 850 ℃~880 ℃, quickly quenching it in oil, and then tempering it in a box type annealing atmosphere furnace at 450 ℃~500 ℃, high-strength and elastic limit valve springs can be obtained, meeting the performance requirements of the engine during high-speed operation and improving the reliability and durability of the engine.
Aerospace field: High temperature alloy blades of aircraft engines are key components, and their performance directly affects the performance and reliability of the engine. By conducting solid solution treatment in a box type annealing atmosphere furnace at 1050 ℃~1100 ℃, and then aging treatment at 750 ℃~850 ℃, the blades can achieve good high-temperature strength, fatigue resistance, and oxidation resistance, meeting the requirements of aircraft engines in harsh working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and high speed.
Mold manufacturing: Mold steel needs to be pre treated before manufacturing molds to improve its processing performance and structural properties. Box type annealing atmosphere furnace can be used for spheroidizing annealing treatment of mold steel. For example, Cr12MoV mold steel can be heated to 780 ℃~800 ℃, kept for 2~4 hours, and then slowly cooled to below 500 ℃ in the furnace before being air cooled. This can spheroidize carbides in the mold steel, reduce hardness, improve cutting performance, prepare the structure for subsequent processing and final heat treatment, and ultimately improve the accuracy and service life of the mold.
Research on Metal Materials: When researchers study the aging strengthening characteristics of new aluminum alloys, they can use a box type annealing atmosphere furnace to accurately control the heating temperature and holding time. For example, the new aluminum alloy sample is kept in a box type annealing atmosphere furnace at 180 ℃~200 ℃ for different periods of time before being taken out. Through hardness testing, metallographic observation, and mechanical property testing of the sample, the influence of aging temperature and time on the structure and properties of the aluminum alloy is analyzed, providing theoretical basis and technical support for the development and application of new aluminum alloys.
Metal heat treatment: For metal materials such as titanium alloys and stainless steel, a box type annealing atmosphere furnace can be used for annealing or brazing treatment. By precisely controlling the atmosphere and temperature inside the furnace, ideal material properties can be achieved.
