The common faults and solutions of box type annealing atmosphere furnace are as follows:

Temperature related faults and solutions
The temperature change cannot reach the test temperature value
Fault symptoms: slow temperature rise, severe temperature overshoot, direct temperature rise and over temperature protection.

When the temperature rises slowly, check the air circulation system and check if the regulating baffle of the air circulation is open normally. If it is not normal, adjust it; If the adjustment baffle is normal, check whether the motor of the air circulation is running normally. If it is not normal, repair or replace the motor.
When the temperature overshoot is severe, it is necessary to adjust the PID setting parameters.
When the temperature rises directly and exceeds the temperature protection, the controller malfunctions and the control instrument needs to be replaced.

Low temperature does not meet the test indicators
Fault phenomenon: The temperature drops very slowly, or there is a tendency for the temperature to rise again after reaching a certain value.

Check whether the working chamber is dried before conducting low-temperature tests in the vacuum atmosphere furnace, and keep it dry before placing the test samples into the working chamber for further testing.
Check if there are too many test samples placed in the studio, which may result in insufficient air circulation. If there are too many, reduce the number of samples.
After eliminating the above reasons, consider whether it is a fault in the refrigeration system. At this time, it is necessary to hire professional personnel from the manufacturer for maintenance.

Vacuum related faults and solutions
Insufficient vacuum
Fault phenomenon: The furnace cannot achieve the expected vacuum degree.

Check the vacuum pump: Ensure that the vacuum pump is working properly. If there is a malfunction, it may be necessary to clean, repair, or replace damaged parts.
Check seals: Check for poor sealing at furnace doors, pipeline connections, etc. Aging or damage to seals may result in insufficient vacuum, and replacement or reinstallation of seals is required to ensure sealing effectiveness.
Check for leaks: Confirm that the vacuum source of the equipment is normal and the compressed air pressure is normal; Check whether the vacuum gauge is normal, whether the door is closed, whether the sealing film door is damaged or deformed, and whether the door is contaminated by foreign objects; If there is no problem with the door, check whether there are any leakage points in the corresponding working areas of the pipeline, pneumatic valve, thermocouple inlet, etc., and repair them.
Check the electrical system: If the vacuum furnace has no power supply, check the circuit diagram to see if the power failure has ended and if the components have been burned out; At the same time, check the connection and resistance of the heating element, repair or replace damaged heating elements, and inspect and calibrate the control system.
Check the cooling system: Ensure sufficient cooling water supply and unobstructed cooling system to avoid insufficient vacuum caused by cooling system failure.
Check the control system: Check the settings of the controller to ensure that the parameters are set correctly, check the operation of the sensors, and replace faulty sensors if necessary.

Other faults and solutions
Solid state relay malfunction
Fault phenomenon: Solid state relay is an important component for controlling the temperature of vacuum atmosphere furnace. If breakdown, open circuit and other faults occur, it can lead to temperature loss of control.
Solution: Check and replace the solid-state relay.
Poor contact of thermocouple
Fault phenomenon: Poor contact between the thermocouple and the furnace body can result in inaccurate temperature readings, leading to temperature runaway.
Solution: Check the contact between the thermocouple and the furnace body, and adjust or replace the thermocouple.
Power Failure
Fault phenomenon: The vacuum atmosphere furnace needs to be powered on in order to function properly. If there is a power failure such as power outage or abnormal voltage, it can lead to temperature runaway.
Solution: Check the power supply and repair it.
Blockage of materials inside the furnace
Fault phenomenon: Blockage of materials in the furnace can affect airflow circulation and heat exchange, leading to temperature loss of control.
Solution: Stop the furnace, inspect and clean the materials inside the furnace.
External disturbances
Fault phenomenon: The vacuum atmosphere furnace is subject to external interference, such as electromagnetic fields, strong vibrations, etc., which can affect the measured temperature values and cause temperature loss of control.
Solution: Eliminate external interference factors.
