The common faults and solutions of vacuum sintering muffle furnace are as follows:

Abnormal vacuum degree
Fault description: Unable to reach the set vacuum level or unstable vacuum level.
cause analysis
Vacuum pump failure, such as insufficient pump oil, pump body wear, damaged seals, etc., leads to a decrease in pumping capacity.
There is a leak in the vacuum system, which may be due to poor sealing of the furnace door, air leakage at pipeline connections, poor sealing of the observation window, etc.
Vacuum valve failure, such as incomplete valve opening, damaged valve seal, etc., affects gas circulation.
solution
Check the oil level of the vacuum pump and replenish the pump oil in a timely manner; Repair or replace worn parts and seals of the vacuum pump.
Use helium mass spectrometer leak detector and other equipment to detect leaks in the vacuum system, identify leakage points and repair them, such as replacing gaskets, tightening pipeline connection bolts, etc.
Check the status of the vacuum valve to ensure that it opens and closes normally. If there is any damage, replace the valve in a timely manner.
Inaccurate temperature control
Fault description: The actual temperature deviates significantly from the set temperature, or the temperature fluctuation range exceeds the allowable value.
cause analysis
Temperature sensor malfunction, such as thermocouple aging or damage, resulting in inaccurate measurements.
The heating element is damaged, and some heating wires are burnt out, resulting in uneven heating power.
Temperature controller malfunction, incorrect parameter settings or internal circuit failure of the controller, unable to accurately control heating power.
solution
Regularly check the temperature sensor. If the thermocouple is found to be aged or damaged, replace it with a new sensor in a timely manner and calibrate it.
Check the heating element, identify the burnt heating wire, replace the damaged heating element, and ensure even heating.
Check the parameter settings of the temperature controller and set the parameters correctly according to the instructions. If the controller malfunctions, it can be repaired or replaced.
Furnace leakage
Fault description: When touching the furnace body, I feel a tingling inductance or the leakage protection device trips.
cause analysis
The insulation of the heating element is damaged, resulting in current leakage into the furnace body.
Poor grounding of the furnace body, disconnection or poor contact of the grounding circuit.
The aging and damage of wires in the electrical control system cause electrical leakage.
solution
Check the insulation condition of the heating element. If there is insulation damage, replace the heating element or perform insulation treatment on it.
Check the grounding circuit of the furnace body to ensure good grounding and firm connection.
Carefully inspect the wires in the electrical control system and replace any aging or damaged wires in a timely manner.
Excessive noise from vacuum pump
Fault description: The vacuum pump produces abnormal noise during operation.
cause analysis
The bearing of the vacuum pump is worn, resulting in unstable operation of the rotor.
There are foreign objects in the pump chamber, such as dust, metal shavings, etc., which affect the normal operation of the pump.
The oil quality of the vacuum pump has deteriorated, and the lubrication and shock absorption performance have decreased.
solution
Replace worn bearings to ensure the concentricity and smooth operation of the rotor.
Disassemble and clean the vacuum pump to remove foreign objects from the pump chamber.
Replace the vacuum pump oil, regularly inspect and replace the pump oil to maintain good oil quality.
Control system malfunction
Fault description: The operation panel has no display, the buttons are malfunctioning, or the system cannot start or run normally.
cause analysis
Power failure, such as loose power sockets, damaged power cords, blown fuses, etc.
Control circuit board malfunction, such as component damage, short circuit or open circuit.
Software program errors may be due to program loss, damage, or incompatible versions.
solution
Check the power socket and power cord to ensure proper connection, and replace damaged power cords or fuses.
Check the control circuit board, repair or replace damaged components, and repair short circuits or open circuits.
Reinstall or update software programs to ensure that the program version is compatible with the device. If the program is lost or damaged, it can be restored from a backup.
