During the use of the box type high-temperature resistance furnace, there are safety issues related to electrical, high-temperature, mechanical, and other aspects. It is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and the normal operation of equipment. Here are some safety precautions to be aware of:

Electrical safety
The resistance furnace should be installed in a dry and well ventilated place, away from flammable and explosive materials, and ensure good grounding to prevent electric shock accidents.
Regularly inspect electrical components such as power cords, plugs, sockets, and switches. If they are damaged or aged, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
When operating a resistance furnace, wet hands should be avoided to prevent electric shock. If an electrical malfunction occurs, the power should be immediately cut off and repaired by professional personnel.

High temperature safety
Resistance furnaces generate high temperatures during the heating process, and operators should wear high-temperature protective gloves, goggles, and other protective equipment to prevent burns.
When opening the furnace door to retrieve items, pause for a moment to allow the hot air inside to dissipate before proceeding, to avoid burns to the face and body caused by the hot air.
The heating elements inside the furnace are in a red hot state at high temperatures. It is strictly prohibited to touch them with hands or other objects to avoid burns or accidents such as short circuits.
During the heating process, do not open the furnace door casually to prevent heat loss and affect the heating effect, while also preventing high-temperature hot air from spraying out and injuring people.
After the resistance furnace stops working, wait for the temperature inside the furnace to drop to room temperature or below the safe temperature before carrying out cleaning and maintenance work.

Loading and unloading safety
When loading items into the furnace, it should be ensured that the items are placed steadily to avoid tipping over, damaging heating elements, or causing other safety accidents during the heating process.
For heavier items, appropriate tools (such as pallets, fixtures, etc.) should be used for handling and loading to prevent injury to personnel due to improper force.
When unloading items, be also careful to avoid high-temperature objects falling and injuring people.

Temperature control safety
Strictly follow the operating procedures of the equipment to set the temperature, and do not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the resistance furnace to avoid damaging the equipment or causing safety accidents.
Regularly check the temperature control system to ensure that temperature sensors, controllers, and other components are working properly to ensure the accuracy of temperature control. If abnormal temperature control is found, it should be stopped immediately and repaired.

Gas usage safety (if involved)
If protective gases (such as nitrogen, argon, etc.) need to be introduced into the box type high-temperature resistance furnace during use, it should be ensured that the gas pipeline is firmly connected and there is no leakage.
Inject gas according to the prescribed gas flow rate and pressure to avoid affecting heating efficiency or causing safety issues due to excessive or insufficient gas flow.
When using flammable and explosive gases, special attention should be paid to fire and explosion prevention. Open flames and flammable materials are prohibited in the surrounding area, and corresponding fire-fighting equipment should be equipped.

Daily maintenance of safety
Regularly clean the resistance furnace, remove dust, debris, and oxides inside the furnace, and keep the furnace clean. But when cleaning, the power should be cut off first and wait for the furnace to cool down before proceeding with the operation.
Check the connection of the heating element. If it is loose or damaged, it should be tightened or replaced in a timely manner. At the same time, check the sealing condition of the furnace door to ensure that it is tightly closed and reduce heat loss.
When carrying out equipment maintenance and repair, the power should be cut off first, and a warning sign reading “under repair, do not close” should be hung at the power switch to prevent others from operating it by mistake.
