When choosing a crucible furnace, comprehensive consideration can be given to factors such as operating temperature, furnace material, heating elements, structural type, specifications, functional requirements, brand quality, and after-sales service. The following is a specific analysis:

1. Choose according to the operating temperature: Crucible furnaces are classified according to the operating temperature, and there are commonly 1000 degree series, 1200 degree series, 1400 degree series, 1700 degree series, etc. The crucible furnace of the corresponding temperature series should be selected according to the temperature requirements of the actual melted or heated materials. For example, melting non-ferrous metals with relatively low melting points (such as copper, aluminum, and their alloys), 1000 degree or 1200 degree series crucible furnaces may be sufficient; If it is necessary to melt alloys with high melting points, it may be necessary to choose a 1400 degree or 1700 degree series crucible furnace.
2. Consider furnace material: Conventional crucible furnaces include silicon carbide furnace and new ceramic fiber furnace materials. Silicon carbide material furnaces have good high temperature resistance and thermal stability; Ceramic fiber furnace materials have the advantages of light weight, good insulation performance, and fast heating. Suitable furnace materials can be selected according to specific needs and usage environments.
3. Pay attention to heating elements: The heating elements used in crucible furnaces of different temperature series also vary. Alloy heating wires are usually used as heating elements below 1200 degrees Celsius; The 1400 degree crucible furnace uses silicon carbon rods as heating elements; The 1700 degree crucible furnace uses silicon molybdenum rods as heating elements. The quality and performance of heating elements directly affect the heating efficiency and service life of crucible furnaces, so reliable and stable heating elements should be selected.
4. Choose structure type: The crucible furnace has two types of structures: split type and integrated type. The temperature control system and furnace body of the split crucible furnace are separate and independent; The control system and furnace body of the integrated crucible furnace are integrated, making operation more convenient. Suitable structural types can be selected based on actual usage needs and operating habits.
5. Determine specifications and models: Crucible furnaces at the same temperature are divided into different models based on their different volume sizes. It is necessary to select a crucible furnace with an appropriate volume based on the amount of material melted or heated each time, to ensure that it can meet production needs without causing energy waste.
6. Consider functional requirements:Such as whether intelligent programmable control, multi-stage temperature control, automatic heating, automatic insulation, automatic cooling, and other functions are needed. These functions can improve the convenience and accuracy of operation, enhance production efficiency and product quality.
7. Brand quality and after-sales service: Choosing a well-known brand and reliable quality crucible furnace can ensure the performance and service life of the equipment. Meanwhile, good after-sales service is also an important factor to consider when choosing a crucible furnace, including equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, technical training, and other aspects.
