The common faults and solutions of 1400 ℃ vacuum box type muffle furnace are as follows:

Temperature related faults
The temperature cannot rise
Reason: Damaged heating element, power failure, temperature controller malfunction.
Solution: Check the heating element and replace it if it is damaged; Check the power supply circuit to ensure normal power supply; If the temperature controller malfunctions, repair or replace the controller.

Temperature too high or too low
Reason: Temperature sensor malfunction, incorrect controller parameter settings, uneven distribution of heating elements.
Solution: Replace the temperature sensor; Reset the controller parameters correctly; Check the distribution of heating elements and make adjustments if there are any issues.

Unstable temperature control
Reason: Temperature controller malfunction, thermocouple damage.
Solution: Calibrate or replace the temperature controller and check if the thermocouple is functioning properly.

Unable to reach the set temperature
Reasons: power supply issues, poor furnace sealing, damaged heating elements, burnt or damaged solid-state relays.
Solution: Ensure stable power supply; Check the sealing condition of the furnace and repair it; Check whether the heating element is normal, and replace it if it is damaged; Check if the solid-state relay is damaged or if the control circuit is in good condition.

Furnace and seal related faults
The furnace door is not tightly sealed
Reason: Aging of seals and deformation of furnace doors.
Solution: Replace the seal; Correct or repair the furnace door.

Uneven temperature inside the furnace
Reason: Improper placement of the sample, partial damage to the heating element, and failure of the circulating fan.
Solution: Reasonably place the samples; Check and replace damaged heating elements; Regularly maintain and clean the circulating fan inside the furnace to ensure smooth airflow.

Furnace rupture
Reason: The usage environment does not meet the requirements, such as unsuitable temperature and humidity.
Solution: Immediately stop using the muffle furnace and contact maintenance personnel for repairs; Check if the operating environment of the muffle furnace meets the requirements.

Electrical and control system malfunction
Equipment short circuit tripping
Reason: Short circuit in the circuit, malfunction of electrical components.
Solution: Check the circuit and repair the short circuit part; Check and replace faulty electrical components.

Excessive noise
Reason: Loose mechanical components, fan malfunction.
Solution: Tighten loose mechanical components; Repair or replace the fan.

Display Exception
Reason: Display screen malfunction, control board malfunction.
Solution: Repair or replace the display screen; Check the control board, repair or replace the faulty part.

Communication interruption
Solution: Check if the connection wire between the controller and the muffle furnace is loose or damaged, and re plug and unplug the connection wire; Check if the internal plugins of the controller are loose; Check if the power supply circuit of the controller is securely connected and can be tested with instruments; Check whether there is a short circuit inside the controller; Check if the switch power supply has DC output.

Touch function is invalid
Solution: Check if the display circuit connection is good, open the controller housing, and check if the display cable between the display screen and the control board is aging or has poor contact; If the wiring or display screen is significantly damaged, it needs to be replaced.

No display on the screen
Solution: Check if the power interface of the controller is loose; Observe whether the power indicator light inside the controller is on. If it is on normally, check whether the display cable is faulty; Check if the internal plugins of the controller are loose; Check if the power supply circuit of the controller is securely connected and can be tested using instruments.

Reverse thermocouple connection
Solution: Turn off the power, open the back cover of the muffle furnace, and check whether the polarity of the thermocouple end and the polarity of the controller thermocouple input port are consistent; Use instruments to test and ensure proper connection.

Thermocouple open circuit
Solution: Turn off the power, open the back cover of the muffle furnace, and check if the thermocouple terminal and thermocouple lead are securely connected; Check if the thermocouple sensor is open circuited and test it with a multimeter or other instruments; Check if there is an open circuit in the connectors, wiring terminals, and adapters between the thermocouple end leads and the circuit board. Sometimes, re plugging and unplugging can restore normal operation.

transistor leakage
Reason: Insulation damage, etc.
Solution: Check the insulation condition, repair or replace damaged parts.

Overheating of the shell
Reason: Failure of insulation material.
Solution: Replace the insulation material.
