4.Precautions for use
Pre operation inspection
Check whether the shell of the box type resistance furnace is intact, whether there is any damage or foreign matter in the power cord, controller, and furnace interior, and ensure that the furnace door is well sealed.
Wear protective gear such as work clothes, insulated gloves, and goggles to prevent burns from high temperatures.
Prohibit placing flammable and explosive materials around the resistance furnace and maintain good ventilation.
Operation process
According to experimental or production requirements, set appropriate heating temperature and holding time, and preheat the resistance furnace to a certain range below the set temperature to reduce temperature shock.
Use a dedicated crucible or container to place the sample to be heated steadily in the furnace, taking care to avoid contact between samples to prevent contamination or uneven heat transfer.
After confirming that all settings are correct, turn on the power and press the start button or start the heating program through the controller.
During the heating process, closely monitor the temperature changes displayed by the temperature controller to ensure that the temperature inside the furnace rises according to the preset curve. If there are any abnormalities, they should be adjusted or stopped for inspection in a timely manner.
When the high-temperature box type resistance furnace is above 300 ℃, it is not recommended to open the door for operation to prevent heat waves from spraying out and injuring people or causing a sudden drop in temperature that affects the heating effect. If it is necessary to open the door, wait for the temperature inside the furnace to drop to a safe range (such as below 200 ℃) before carefully opening the furnace door.
Post operation maintenance
After the temperature inside the furnace drops to a safe range, carefully remove the sample using specialized tools to avoid burns.
Turn off the power, clean the interior of the furnace, remove any residue, and keep the furnace clean and tidy. Check the sealing of the furnace door to ensure safety for future use.
Other precautions
The electric furnace and temperature controller must be reliably grounded to prevent electric shock accidents caused by leakage.
When using, do not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the resistance furnace, generally not exceeding 500 ℃, to prevent equipment damage or safety accidents.
When installing the sample, be sure to cut off the power supply to prevent electric shock; The opening time of the furnace door should be kept as short as possible when collecting samples to extend the service life of the electric furnace.
It is prohibited to pour any liquid or molten metal into the furnace to prevent dangerous situations such as explosions.
Without the permission of the management personnel, it is not allowed to operate the resistance furnace and strictly follow the operating procedures of the equipment.
