The following precautions should be taken during the production process of large box type resistance furnaces:
1. Pre operation inspection:
Check if there are tools or other conductive substances in the electrical control box. If there are forgotten workpieces in the furnace, they should be removed in a timely manner.
After closing, check if the electrical switch contacts properly.
Check if the temperature control instrument is working properly and turn on its switch to ensure it is in working condition.
Ensure that the furnace door is well sealed to prevent heat leakage.
2. Temperature control:
Set appropriate heating temperature and holding time according to process requirements, and preheat the resistance furnace to a certain range below the set temperature to reduce temperature shock.
Pay close attention to the temperature changes displayed on the temperature controller to ensure that the temperature inside the furnace rises according to the preset curve. If there are any abnormalities, adjust or stop the machine for inspection in a timely manner.
The maximum operating temperature shall not exceed the rated value of the equipment to prevent equipment damage or safety accidents.
3. Sample placement:
Use a dedicated crucible or container to place the sample to be heated steadily in the furnace, taking care to avoid contact between samples to prevent contamination or uneven heat transfer.
The workpiece should be placed evenly and steadily inside the furnace, and it is not allowed to come into contact with the heating wire. A certain distance should be maintained to avoid local overheating.
4. Safe operation:
Before operation, it is necessary to wear protective equipment such as work clothes, insulated gloves, and safety goggles to prevent high temperature burns.
Prohibit placing flammable and explosive materials around the resistance furnace and maintain good ventilation.
When heating inside the furnace, it is forbidden to open the furnace door to prevent heat waves from spraying out and injuring people or causing a sudden drop in temperature that affects the heating effect. When the temperature inside the furnace rises above 200 ℃, do not open the furnace door for intense cooling.
When installing the sample, be sure to cut off the power supply to prevent electric shock. The opening time of the furnace door should be kept as short as possible when collecting samples to extend the service life of the electric furnace.
5. Equipment maintenance:
Regularly clean the oxide scale inside the furnace and the dirt under the furnace floor to keep the furnace clean and tidy.
Regularly inspect the condition of the furnace lining, resistance wire support plate bricks, and electric heating wires, and promptly repair or replace any damages found.
Check the fastening of the clamp of the resistance wire lead out rod every month, remove the oxide scale, and tighten the clamp in a timely manner.
Regularly check the use of the furnace door lifting wire and replace it promptly if any damage is found.
6. Exception handling:
If any abnormal phenomena are found, such as temperature runaway, leakage, etc., the power should be immediately cut off and dealt with according to the emergency plan.
Regularly check the accuracy and stability of the temperature controller to ensure the controllability and safety of the heating process.
