The temperature range of large box type resistance furnaces is relatively wide, and the common temperature range division and specific temperature range are as follows:

1.Low temperature box type resistance furnace: with a temperature below 600 ℃, the heating element is usually a resistance wire, suitable for heat treatment and tempering processes of non-ferrous metals.

2.Medium temperature box type resistance furnace: The temperature is between 600-1000 ℃, and the electric heating element is generally composed of resistance wires. The maximum operating temperature of the silicon carbon rod furnace can also reach this range (for example, some silicon carbon rod furnaces have a maximum operating temperature of 1350 ℃, but are classified according to this range). It is suitable for heat treatment of large, medium, and small workpieces in single and small batches, and can adapt to various heat treatment process requirements.

3.High temperature box type resistance furnace: The temperature is above 1000 ℃, and the common temperature ranges are below 1200 ℃, 1400 ℃, 1600 ℃, 1700 ℃, 1800 ℃, etc. The heating elements are mainly resistance wires, silicon carbon rods, and silicon molybdenum rods. For example, the maximum operating temperature of a silicon carbon rod furnace can reach 1350 ℃, and the maximum operating temperature of a silicon molybdenum rod furnace can reach 1600 ℃. High temperature box type resistance furnace can be used for sintering of metal materials, ceramic materials, heat treatment of certain single crystals, detection and research of high-temperature re firing shrinkage of refractory materials, etc.
