Time:2025-06-16 Click:0

The common faults and troubleshooting methods for large box type resistance furnaces are as follows:

Unable to heat up
Reason: Damaged power cord, faulty power switch, blown fuse, damaged heating element, etc.
Exclusion method:
Check the power cord and repair or replace it if it is damaged.
Repair or replace the faulty power switch.
Replace the blown fuse and investigate the cause of the blow.
Check the heating element, if the resistance wire is aging or burnt out, it needs to be replaced.

Unstable temperature
Reason: Temperature control system malfunction, such as temperature controller, sensor malfunction or inaccurate calibration; The hot air circulation is not smooth, the fan inside the furnace malfunctions, and the hot air cannot circulate evenly; Uneven distribution of heating elements, improper placement of materials in the furnace, and inadequate sealing of the furnace door.
Exclusion method:
Regularly calibrate the temperature control system and replace faulty thermostats or sensors.
Regularly check whether the fan and air duct are blocked to ensure smooth circulation.
Adjust the position of the heating element or replace it with a more evenly distributed heating element; Reasonably arrange materials to ensure even utilization of space inside the furnace; Check the sealing gasket of the furnace door and replace it promptly if it is damaged to ensure good sealing of the furnace door.

The temperature is too high
Reason: Temperature controller malfunction, short circuit or internal component failure; Aging of thermal insulation materials leads to heat loss and excessive operation of heating elements; The feedback signal is incorrect, the temperature sensor is damaged, and the signal fed back to the thermostat is an incorrect reading.
Exclusion method:
Regularly calibrate and replace the thermostat.
Regularly inspect insulation materials and replace them if necessary.
Regularly inspect and replace faulty sensors.

Furnace deformation
Reason: It may be due to long-term high temperature use, furnace material issues, or external impact.
Exclusion method: Stop using and contact the manufacturer for repair. It may be necessary to replace the furnace.

Control panel malfunction
Reason: Malfunction of buttons on the control panel, circuit board malfunction, etc.
Exclusion method: Clean or replace the control panel; Use a multimeter to detect signals and currents, and have professional personnel perform circuit board maintenance.

leakage of electricity
Reason: Damaged wires, insulation damage between the lead out rod and the terminal block, etc.
Exclusion method: Check whether the wires are damaged, repair or replace them in a timely manner; Replace the porcelain sleeve and asbestos rubber pad, and readjust the relative position between the lead out rod and the protective cover.

Decreased insulation performance
Reason: Damaged furnace lining, severe fouling inside the furnace, etc.
Exclusion method: Replace damaged insulation materials; Clean up the dirt and carbon deposits in the furnace to improve heat transfer efficiency.

Excessive noise
Reason: Fan imbalance, motor failure, unstable base, etc.
Exclusion method:
Check the integrity of the fan impeller and rebalance or replace it if necessary.
Repair or replace faulty motors.
Ensure that the equipment is securely placed and adjust any uneven or poorly secured bases.
