1. Temperature related faults
The temperature cannot rise
Reason: Damaged heating element, power failure, temperature controller malfunction.
Solution: Check the heating element and replace it if it is damaged; Check the power supply circuit to ensure normal power supply; If the temperature controller malfunctions, repair or replace the controller.
Temperature too high or too low
Reason: Temperature sensor malfunction, incorrect controller parameter settings, uneven distribution of heating elements.
Solution: Replace the temperature sensor; Reset the controller parameters correctly; Check the distribution of heating elements and make adjustments if there are any issues.
Uneven temperature inside the furnace
Reasons: Improper placement of samples, damage to heating elements, unreasonable power distribution, unreasonable furnace structure leading to excessive local heat dissipation, inability of thermocouple installation position or insertion depth to reflect actual temperature, etc.
Solution: Reasonably place the samples; Check and replace damaged heating elements; Recalculate and improve power configuration; Improve furnace structure or cooling methods; Adjust the installation position or insertion depth of the thermocouple.
2. Fault related to furnace door sealing
The furnace door is not tightly sealed
Reason: Aging of seals and deformation of furnace doors.
Solution: Replace the seal; Correct or repair the furnace door.
3. Equipment short circuit tripping fault
Reason: Short circuit in the circuit, malfunction of electrical components.
Solution: Check the circuit and repair the short circuit part; Check and replace faulty electrical components.
4. Noise related faults
Reason: Loose mechanical components, fan malfunction.
Solution: Tighten loose mechanical components; Repair or replace the fan.
5. Display related faults
Display Exception
Reason: Display screen malfunction, control board malfunction.
Solution: Repair or replace the display screen; Check the control board, repair or replace the faulty part.
No display on the screen
Reason: Loose power supply interface of the controller, display cable fault, loose internal plugins of the controller, connection problems of the controller power supply line, internal short circuit of the controller, no DC output of the switch power supply, etc.
Solution: Check the power interface of the controller; Observe the power indicator light inside the controller. If it lights up normally, check if there is a fault in the display cable; Check the internal plugins of the controller; Check the power supply circuit of the controller; Check whether there is a short circuit inside the controller; Check if the switch power supply has DC output.
The display screen shows a blurred or abnormal color
Reason: Poor contact of the monitor cable.
Solution: Open the controller casing and check if the display cable between the display screen and the control board is aging or has poor contact. Replace it if necessary.
Touch function is invalid
Reason: Poor connection of the display circuit, aging or poor contact of the display cable between the display screen and the control board.
Solution: Check the connection of the monitor circuit; Open the controller casing and check the display cable between the display screen and the control board. If the cable or display screen is significantly damaged, it needs to be replaced.
6. Communication related faults
Reason: Loose or damaged connection wires between the controller and the muffle furnace, loose internal plugins of the controller, connection problems of the controller power supply line, internal short circuit of the controller, no DC output of the switch power supply, etc.
Solution: Check the connection wire between the controller and the muffle furnace, and re plug and unplug the connection wire; Check the internal plugins of the controller; Check the power supply circuit of the controller; Check whether there is a short circuit inside the controller; Check if the switch power supply has DC output.
7. Thermocouple related faults
Reverse thermocouple connection
Solution: Turn off the power, open the back cover of the muffle furnace, check whether the polarity of the thermocouple end and the polarity of the controller thermocouple input port are consistent, use an instrument to test, and ensure correct connection.
Thermocouple open circuit
Solution: Turn off the power, open the back cover of the muffle furnace, and check if the thermocouple terminal and thermocouple lead are securely connected; Check if the thermocouple sensor is open circuited and test it with a multimeter or other instruments; Check if there is an open circuit in the connectors, wiring terminals, and adapters between the thermocouple end leads and the circuit board. Sometimes, re plugging and unplugging can restore normal operation.
8. Vacuum system related faults
Reason: Vacuum pump malfunction, damaged seals, pipeline leakage.
Solution: Repair or replace the vacuum pump; Replace damaged seals; Find and repair the leakage point.
