The high-temperature rotary furnace cannot vacuum extract the calcined powder

When calcining powder in a high-temperature rotary furnace, the vacuum cannot be pulled up, which may be caused by vacuum pump problems, system leaks, gas sources, vacuum gauge or valve failures, pipeline problems, or operational issues. The following are specific analysis and solutions:

1. Vacuum pump issue
Reason: The vacuum pump is the core component of the vacuum system. If its pumping capacity decreases or malfunctions, it will directly affect the vacuum degree. Common problems include contamination or oxidation of vacuum pump oil, damage to components, rotor wear, seal failure, etc.
resolvent:
Check the vacuum pump oil. If the oil is contaminated or oxidized, replace it with new oil in a timely manner.
Check whether the components of the vacuum pump are damaged or worn, and replace or repair them if necessary.
Ensure that the power system of the vacuum pump is functioning properly, the belt tension is moderate, and the oil level meets the requirements.

2. System leakage
Reason: Leakage in the vacuum system is a common cause of the inability to increase the vacuum level. Leakage may occur in areas such as vacuum chambers, vacuum pipelines, valves, etc.
resolvent:
Use methods such as flame detection to detect leakage points. For external leaks, you can gradually search near the suspicious point and observe whether the flame is offset towards the leak point; For internal leaks, it is necessary to conduct inspections in different vacuum working areas.
Once a leakage point is found, it should be repaired in a timely manner. For smaller leakage points, temporary repairs can be made using materials such as vacuum sealing mud and vacuum sealing wax; For larger leakage points, corresponding components need to be replaced or more thorough repairs need to be carried out.

3. Air release source
Reason: The venting in the vacuum system mainly considers the gases dissolved and adsorbed by the material itself, as well as some substances that are prone to evaporation and volatilization. If the initial cleaning is not sufficient or the baking is not thorough, these substances may continuously evaporate during the vacuum process, becoming a gas source and causing the vacuum degree to fail to be drawn up.
resolvent:
Before vacuum operation, ensure that the vacuum chamber and pipelines are thoroughly cleaned and baked to remove any potential sources of air release.
Regularly inspect the interior of the vacuum chamber and pipelines to ensure that there are no residual moisture, oil stains, or other volatile substances.

4. Vacuum gauge or valve malfunction
Reason: The vacuum gauge is used to display the vacuum level. If it malfunctions or is damaged, it will not accurately reflect the vacuum level; Valves are used to control the on/off and flow of vacuum systems. If they fail or leak, it can also affect the vacuum level.
resolvent:
Check if the vacuum gauge is in good condition and replace or repair it if necessary.
Check if the valve is tightly closed and if there is any leakage. If necessary, clean, repair or replace the valve.

5. Pipeline issues
Reason: The vacuum pipeline is an important component that connects the vacuum pump and the vacuum chamber. If it is blocked, leaked, or poorly connected, it can also affect the vacuum degree.
resolvent:
Check if the vacuum pipeline is unobstructed and if there are any blockages. If necessary, clean or unclog the pipeline.
Check whether the connection of the vacuum pipeline is tight and reliable, and whether there is any air leakage. If necessary, tighten or replace the seals at the pipeline connections.

6. Operational issues
Reason: Improper operation may also result in the inability to increase the vacuum level. For example, not closing all external valves before vacuum operation, not setting vacuum pump parameters correctly, etc.
resolvent:
Ensure that all external valves are closed and the vacuum pump parameters are set correctly before vacuum operation.
Follow the operating procedures for vacuum operation to avoid problems caused by improper operation.
