1. In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, use a DC potentiometer to calibrate the thermometer of the XMT temperature controller every year to avoid large errors.
2. Regularly check whether each part of the hotline is loose, whether the contacts of the AC contactor are in good condition, and if any failures occur, repair them in time.
3. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated place without corrosive gas, the working environment temperature is 10-50℃, and the relative temperature is not more than 85%.
4. For the silicon carbide rod type furnace, if the silicon carbide rod is found to be damaged, it should be replaced with a new silicon carbide rod with the same specification and similar resistance value. When replacing, first remove the protective cover and silicon carbide rod chuck at both ends, and then take out the damaged silicon carbide rod. Since the silicon carbide rod is fragile, be careful when installing. The exposed parts of the two ends of the furnace shell should be equal, and the chuck must Tighten it to make good contact with the silicon carbide rod. If the chuck is severely oxidized, replace it with a new one. The gaps in the mounting holes at both ends of the silicon carbide rods should be blocked with asbestos rope.
5. The furnace temperature shall not exceed the maximum working temperature. The silicon carbide rod is allowed to work continuously for 4 hours at the highest temperature. After the box furnace has been used for a long time, if the heating power adjustment knob is turned clockwise to the maximum position, the heating current still cannot go up. The distance to the rated value is far, and the required heating power cannot be reached, indicating that the silicon carbide rod is aging. At this time, the silicon carbide rods connected in series can be changed to parallel, and they can still be used. It is not necessary to disassemble the silicon carbide rod when changing the connection method, just change the connection method, and after changing the connection method, pay attention to slowly adjusting the heating power adjustment knob during use, and the heating current value must not exceed the rated value.
